Do you know what your unique selling points are?
These are very important for selling yourself to the employer. These have to be unique to you and it isn't something you can search up online as it may comes across as unnatural and very scripted.
So maybe it's time to sit down and interview yourself.
Ask yourself the following questions:
What is your best trait?
Think back to a time when you faced an obstacle, how did you overcome it?
What would you friends say if asked about what your strengths are?
What traits do you have that you wish other people had?
What would you advise your younger self?
Think back to a time you were under immense pressure, what helped you get through this?
If you were the employer why would you hire you?
Make sure at least one of your questions expresses interest in what the company is currently working on and then tactfully weigh in. For example, you might ask, “Will your new product have x, y, or z features and capabilities?” Then, after the interviewer answers, you’d follow up by offering your creative thinking on the subject
You should also always quantify your achievements, it is all well and good saying "I lead my team to success" but being able to quantify it is important. When explaining achievements use statistics and numbers, for example, "The project I led saved costs of up to 60%".
Finally, make sure yo do research into the actual company and ask questions you are unsure of to show you are prepared but also serious and interested in the role.
